    End entrance
    Work has now been  completed providing better access to Church.
    We would like to say a BIG Thank You to  Andrew Gwynne M.P. and to Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council for their generous contribution of £12,000 towards the repairs and renovations of the path at the west end of the building. We now have a level mud free area with disabled access from Market Street.

    Everyone is welcome to come and have a look round at our regular Second Tuesday Café. We are open every Second Tuesday of the month for tea/coffee/ cake and a chat. Our building is available for community use - what could you or your group use it for? Please get in touch on 0161 320 4895.

    An Exhibition of photographs and memorabilia of the Whit Walks, Sermon Sundays and May Queens. Please come along and join us. All are welcome.

    English Heritage Angel Award ENGLISH HERITAGE ANGEL AWARD
    Rev Elizabeth Pope proudly displays the Angel Award from English Heritage. The judges commended the tremendous time, effort and determination involved in the rescue of St Lawrence Church Denton.

    Our Church building is of great historical & architectural interest, however our spiritual commitment is forward looking to expand Gods mission in the local community.
    We are a worshipping community which is representing Christ in this part of Denton, with strong relationships as an extended family offering a friendly, welcoming approach to all in the parish.
